Thank you, community for the fantastic turnout at Saturday’s Movie in the Park at Rolando Park Elementary
We had more than 230 people show up for our second movie event and in spite of not one, but two major technical glitches that caused delays, the show went on. Staff from the Colina del Sol Recreation Center set up preshow activities for us, including games and a jumper for the kids, music, and…

Make Rolando Park Safer
Residents are organizing to get speed humps on some of our busiest streets in Rolando Park to curb speeding and cut-through traffic. Their goal is a minimum of 300 signatures, which will be submitted to our city councilmember Sean Elo-Rivera, SDPD, and the Mayor’s Office. You can support them by signing their petition at https://www.thepetitionsite.com/334/263/103/make-rolando-park-safer-sign-the-traffic-calming-petition/?fbclid=IwAR2Thmm3-lwZFwttfdi51R971_S0ZGeNRSw4fUxZ4XyqZTX91PDrU6Zr1Uc

Thank you, University Ave cleanup volunteers!
Not the best weather this morning for a cleanup, but we still had a good turnout (sorry folks, not too many pics because of the mist). The entire Sanchez family joined us and thanks also to Bettina for organizing, Mike, Tim, Linda, Joyce, John, Lynn, and Officer Hoskins. There’s still much to be done, but…

Thank you, Zena Canyon Cleanup Volunteers!
In spite of the heat this past Saturday, we had more than 30 volunteers for the cleanup. Our favorite SDPD CRO Terry Hoskins and two officers from Neighborhood Policing were there to lend a hand and we were also joined by Girl Scouts and Brownies. In addition to the trash that we collected that went…
