La Mesa Tire

La Mesa Tire is a seven-year old business owned by Jessy Osuna. Before opening his business in Rolando Park, Jessy worked in several auto-related businesses, including as a district manager and store manager. He’s been in the auto-related industry for 18 years. He opened a second La Mesa Tire location in Spring Valley six years ago. Jessy now has six employees: four in Rolando Park and two in Spring Valley.

La Mesa Tire is family-owned and operated. Their goal is to get customers what they need in a friendly atmosphere. They don’t try to upsell customers more than they need; they want to help customers save money; as a result, they have many repeat customers.

In addition to tires, they also do brake service, oil changes, and alignments.

Like all of our businesses, they have experienced a severe drop in sales during COVID-19.

La Mesa Tire is one of several auto-related businesses on the south side of University Avenue in Rolando Park. While some of these businesses have an unkempt appearance, La Mesa Tire is clean and well-organized. There is adequate parking in front of the store and the entry door opens into a customer waiting area separate from the auto work bays.
