In spite of the heat this past Saturday, we had more than 30 volunteers for the cleanup. Our favorite SDPD CRO Terry Hoskins and two officers from Neighborhood Policing were there to lend a hand and we were also joined by Girl Scouts and Brownies. In addition to the trash that we collected that went to the landfill, more than 160 pounds of metal was diverted from the landfill and recycled. Thank you, everyone, for a job well done!
