It’s our annual membership drive and we’re asking you to renew your membership or consider becoming a member.

Our goal is to always provide a voice for our community to our local government and ensure that our concerns and priorities are heard and addressed. We also work to provide special events for the community that allow us to meet our neighbors, socialize, and strengthen our community relationships.

If you follow us on social media, then you already know about many of our events and projects throughout the year like community cleanups, holiday and ice cream socials, and our recent Movie in the Park event.

So why become a member of Rolando Park Community Council? After all, anyone can attend our meetings and bring up any concerns, or volunteer or attend any event without being a member.

But only members can vote on action items and this fall, community council members will approve/not approve:

1. A proposal on the future of Zena Canyon – September

2. A landscape redesign of the pocket park and design for a monument sign at College Grove/College – October

3. A priority infrastructure projects list for our community that will go to the City of San Diego – November

4. November election for secretary and treasurer board positions
