Home > RPCC Meetings > Our May Meeting

Our May 13th guest speakers will address our interest in focusing on improving University Avenue in 2019. Elizabeth Dickson from City Planning and Land Use will focus on the land use portion of Rolando Park in the current Mid-City Community Plan. Liz Studebaker and Luis Ojeda from City Economic Development will talk about ways to encourage and support small businesses, including the use of Maintenance Assessment Districts (MAD). Jim Schneider, Executive Director of the College Area Business Improvement District, will share his knowledge and experience in working with small business districts.

Also starting in May, we are opening the doors at 6:30 for a 30-minute “meet and greet” before the meeting starts. This is an opportunity to meet and chat with other attendees and board members before the meeting starts.
