Home > RPCC & The City > Member Vote to Support Neighbors for a Better San Diego

At our October 11th meeting, Neighbors for a Better San Diego discussed the changes made by the City of San Diego in 2020 that allows multiple Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs; aka “granny flats”) to be built on a single-family residential lot and the potential negative impact to single-family residence owners. If you’ve seen some of the discussions on Nextdoor or in local newspapers, you know that other communities are already seeing multiple units being constructed in single-family neighborhoods.

Neighbors for a Better San Diego have several recommendations for the City of San Diego to rein in the negative effects of the 2020 code changes and maintain quality of life and neighborhood character in our communities.

Shall Rolando Park Community Council support Neighbors for a Better San Diego with a letter of support?

If you didn’t attend the meeting, you can view the meeting video here (presentation starts at 33.15) or the presentation file provided by Neighbors for a Better San Diego here and then vote.

Vote Yes or No.

The poll will close on Saturday, November 6th, 8 pm.
