This Wednesday, October 7, from 6 to 7 pm, the Oak Park Community Council is hosting a mayoral candidate forum. Councilmember Barbara Bry and Assemblyman Todd Gloria will answer questions posed by San Diego residents who attend.
Some questions were sent in advance to the candidates. Some topics of interest to District 4 residents north of the 94 include the fate of the Chollas Triangle plan, affordable housing development in our communities, development of North Community Chollas Park and the proposed new library, revitalization of the 54th St. corridor, plus a regional park incorporating City Council Districts 4, 8, and 9. If you have questions for the candidates, please plan to attend.
Everyone will be muted, but you can ask questions in Chat. Questions posted in Chat will hold until the very end. The expectation is that most questions will have been answered by that time, but if not, any unanswered questions from Chat will be asked.
To sign up to attend, you must send an RSVP to oakpark.sd@gmail.com. You will receive an email confirmation with instructions and the Zoom link.
