Neighbors had a chance to dialogue with our City of San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and Senior infrastructure staff about projects in Rolando Park.
Rolando Park Community Council was selected to host the City of San Diego Meet the Mayor event, hosting six surrounding neighborhoods as well as Rolando Park.
The RPCC November special grant funded meeting at the Kroc Center included the election of the 2015 RPCC board and a wonderful song presentation from the Kroc Kids Junior Theater. Officer Terry Hoskins and Councilmember Myrtle Cole’s Chief of Staff Jimmie Slack, shared information and fielded questions from neighbors.
The University Avenue Improvement Group met at Bourre Southern Cuisine with special guest Reese Jarrett, President of Civic San Diego. Mr. Jarrett suggested ways to meet our goals of improving the Rolando Park business district.
