Our grant, Building Strength and Community in Rolando Park, funded by the Ariel W. Coggeshall Discretionary Fund of The San Diego Foundation covered the costs of a wonderful Special RPCC meeting at the Kroc Center on Saturday, November 8, 2014.

Members munched on goodies from Kroc Catering as they mixed and mingled, taking time out to sign up for volunteer opportunities.  Officer Terry Hoskins of SDPD and Mr. Jimmie Slack, Chief of Staff for Councilmember Myrtle Cole’s office spoke.

The event closed with  a musical presentation from Kroc Kids Theater.  Thanks to Gerrie Flaven, grant lead, for organizing this wonderful special meeting of the RPCC.
