11 October, 2021
7:00 to 8:30 pm
Online via Zoom,

Our guest presenter is Newell Booth with Neighbors for a Better San Diego (NFABSD). He will be discussing the changes made by the City of San Diego in 2020 that allows multiple Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs; aka “granny flats”) to be built on a single-family residential lot and the potential negative impact to single-family residence owners. If you’ve seen some of the discussions on Nextdoor or in local newspapers, you know that other communities are already seeing multiple units being constructed in single-family neighborhoods.

Newell will also have a few experts from the group on hand to answer questions following his presentation and they will ask us for our support. We’ll have an online poll for members following the meeting to vote on whether RPCC should give a letter of support.
