Rolando Park/Redwood Village Community Council meetings resume next Monday, September 8, 7 pm. We’re excited to resume our meetings and update everyone on our summer events and what to look forward to this fall.
Also, we have several volunteer opportunities coming up, starting this Sunday.
- Sunday, September 7, 7:30-8:30 am, Rolando Park Gateway cleanup (aka pocket park, from College/College Grove to Livingston) first Sunday each month
- Saturday, September 13, 8-10:00 am (come when you can, stay as long as you can), University Ave Street Sweep, Rolando Park (College to Aragon)
- Saturday, September 27, 7:30-9 am, Rolando Park Elementary Joint Use Park: Weeding the slope
The success of our community cleanups and dumpster days is based on the number of volunteers who show up, so please consider volunteering for an hour or two as you can.
We’ll have updates on the infrastructure priorities survey that we asked our community to complete during the summer and the progress on the Rolando Park Gateway. Please add October 18th to your calendar for our ribbon-cutting event.
Hope to see you next Monday at the meeting, in person or online!
