This month, we’ll be having a discussion on traffic calming and pedestrian safety in our communities. In 2017, after completing traffic studies, our area traffic engineer identified three streets that warranted traffic calming. Traffic calming devices on those streets should finally be installed this year. Let’s look at other streets and intersections where we continually hear complaints about speeding and not stopping at stop signs and see what can be done.
