Maria Guadalupe Bojorquez-Gomez from Congresswoman Susan Davis’ office was not present, but forwarded the following information:
- Most recently, Congresswoman Davis sponsored the Military Dependents School Meal Eligibility Act, which would provide free or reduced-cost school meals to eligible military children.
- Congresswoman Davis has been co-sponsoring legislation to expand Medicare and Social Security coverage, prevent future pandemics, and expand the scope of clinical trials for cancer research.
- Congresswoman Davis has met virtually with members of the community during these times, such as with DACA students from Southwestern College and scientists from UCSD. Feel free to email sdscheduler@mail.house.gov if you would like to schedule a virtual meeting or call.
- Finally, since the district will have a new representative starting January, Ms. Davis’ office will begin referring new casework to Senator Dianne Feinstein’s office starting Monday, November 9. They can be reached at their San Francisco office at (415) 393-0707 and casework can be submitted on their website.
