Joint Use Park
- On schedule to complete construction by end of May
- Sod will be installed, reducing the maintenance period
- Looking good for fall opening
Noise abatement from 94 Freeway noise – From Caltrans:
- Noise abatement for a freeway comes down to a sound wall, which is only built with new infrastructure or when adding capacity to a freeway such as a new lane
- The condition of the pavement itself isn’t what make the freeways quieter, it’s also the vehicles, vehicle tires, etc.
Treasurer Position Vacancy
- Collects dues and maintains the membership list
- Handles banking and disburses funds as authorized by the board
- Maintains financial records
- Very basic Excel knowledge
- Time commitment is around 4 hours per month, including our general and board meetings
- Two-year term and can be shared by two people
