Thanks to our amazing volunteers for yesterday’s Community Dumpster Day: Michael, Richard, Peter, Vickie, Joyce, Sonia, Bettina, and Lynn. Also joined by Ava, Ivy, and Owen from Councilmember Sean Elo-Rivera’s office.

We were well-staffed for our last community event of the year and even helped the church dispose of a few bulky items.

It was great to see so many community members take advantage of this free opportunity and many thanks to everyone who also brought food donations for our Feeding San Diego Food Drive.

Unfortunately, this wonderful event was marred by two illegal dumping incidents, one before the event started (water heater) and one after dumpster day (mattress and box springs). Not cool to dump at a church.
