This blighted, long neglected corner has been completely transformed, including new drought-tolerant shade trees, cobble catch basins and swales to control run-off, weed removal, and mulch. And Rolando Park now has a monument sign that the community has asked for as far back as we can remember.

So please join the Rolando Park Community Council and Groundwork San Diego Chollas Creek for our ribbon-cutting, thank yous and acknowledgements to our community partners who helped us visualize and achieve this transformation, and a celebration for a small parcel of land now officially named the “Rolando Park Gateway,” an entrance into our community that we can all be proud of.
