7:45 Representatives from Cook + Schmid, consultants for the City of San Diego. The City of San Diego has commissioned a study to determine what separate fees it should charge for trash and recycling services for single-family homes starting next year. That process is underway and, as part of that process, Cook + Schmid is gathering community input on the new proposed trash and recycling fees for a Cost-of-Service Study.
At our meeting, Cook and Schmid will present on Measure B, which authorized the city to charge the new fees, about the Cost-of-Service Study, and about giving input and feedback on the Cost-of-Service Study that will help the City determine the new fees that single-family homeowners will pay for trash collection and recycling services in the future.
