Homeless Coalition
Officer Cummings also chairs a monthly Homeless Coalition meeting on the last Tuesday of every month at 8 am.
The coalition includes SDPD Mid-City officers, Neighborhood Policing Division, including the Homeless Outreach Team officers, City Park Rangers, Environmental Services Department representatives, and City Council Districts 9 and 4 representatives, County and nonprofit homeless service organizations, and residents of Mid-City communities including Rolando Park.
Anyone interested can participate in these meetings, held the last Tuesday of every month, 8am-9am at the Mid-City Division, 4310 Landis, 92105.

Get it Done

RPE Joint Use Park
This fall, 2025, the upper field is being rented out to Rebel Soccer on Monday – Thursday; and Saturday – Sunday.
California Soccer League (adults) also has the upper field on Sundays.
The lower field is reserved for community use seven days a week. Normal hours for community use:
School day:
AM: Sunrise or 6:15 until 7:10
PM: 2:30 until dusk
Early dismissal school day (Wednesday)
AM: Sunrise or 6:15 until 7:10
PM: 12:40 until dusk
School work day (staff only, no students)
AM: Sunrise or 6:15
PM: Until dusk
Non-school day, including holidays and weekends:
AM: Sunrise
PM: Until dusk
City holiday, but still a school day:
AM: Sunrise or 6:15 until 7:10
PM: 2:30 until dusk

This is not an off-leash park. Report off-leash dogs to San Diego Humane Society’s Humane Law Enforcement, 619-299-7012 (press 1). And please pick up after your dog. Dog waste bags are available on both fields.
